Gus

Gus Rust passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 13 years after a brief illness.  He was the much beloved pet of Kaye and David Rust of Valdese, North Carolina.  Gus was gentle and loving and never met a stranger.  He was a magnificent watch dog, allowing no man or beast to go unwelcomed on the Rust property.  He loved watching TV, especially Paw Patrol. 

Gus is survived by his adoptive parents, Kaye and David Rust and his adoptive sisters Ashley Carpenter and Kelly Chappuis.  Gus will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.  His sweet soul is now happy and pain free.
