Prissy was born in my home a little over 9 years ago.  On Valentines Day she passed away.  It was sudden, and unexpected and I am still in shock.  She was always so healthy.  She never needed a vet except for her shots. On Thursday afternoon she had a seizure that lasted less than a minute.  Then she was fine.  I thought she had gotten something stuck in her throat.  Friday afternoon about 5:30 she had 3 in a row.  Saturday morning she started in continuous seizures.  The vet said she evidently had a brain tumor that had finally gotten big enough to press on nerves.  There was nothing that could be done.  Continuous grand mal seizures cannot be controlled by medication.  Brain tumors in dogs are irreversible.  I am devastated.   She was always with me and gave birth to one of my favorite Pembroke corgis of all time Ellie Mae.  As you can see from my favorite picture of her, she was beautiful.  She was loyal, she was loving.  I pray that she is there at the Rainbow Bridge waiting on me.   I miss you Prissy.
